The Artist's Way Workshop

This is a 12 week course for creative thinkers and those that wish to tap into their creative sides.   There is no cost for the workshop aside from the cost of the book The Artist’s Way: 25th Anniversary Edition that can be purchased on Amazon for $17.  A notebook or sketchbook would be helpful as well.

You do not need to be an artist to participate.  The desire to engage in creative endeavors is all that’s required.

The Artist’s Way “is about discovering and developing the artist within.  If you have always wanted to pursue a creative dream, have always wanted to play and create with words or paints, this book will gently get you started and help you learn all kinds of paying-attention techniques; and that after all is what being an artist is about.  It’s about learning to pay attention.  

These gatherings will be limited to 10 participants due to Covid.  Masks are required.  Please be sure you attend meetings free of Covid symptoms.  The course will run beginning Wednesday, November 4 and will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 12 weeks taking holidays into consideration.  They will take place at the Tillotson Center from 10-11am.  Please call or email Michele Johnsen to register at art@michelejohnsen.com or 237-5500.
